Today was a beautiful day. The sun was shining brightly, and the sky was a clear blue. I felt happy as I walked to school, looking forward to another day of learning and fun.
In the morning, we had an English lesson. Our teacher, Miss Li, taught us how to use the present continuous tense. It was a new concept for me, but I liked how it helped me describe actions happening now. We practiced it by talking about what we were doing at the moment, and I said, “I am studying English right now.” It was fun to say those words in English.
After lunch, we had a recess period. I played with my friends in the playground. We踢足球 (played soccer) and laughed together. It was a great way to relax after a morning of learning.
In the afternoon, we had a science lesson. The teacher showed us an experiment about electricity. We learned about how current flows through wires and how it can light up a bulb. It was fascinating to see the bulb light up when we completed the circuit.
After school, I went home and did my homework. I practiced my English by writing a diary in English about my day. It was challenging, but I enjoyed it. I wrote about my English lesson, the recess period, and the science experiment.
Tonight, I plan to read a book in English. I like reading, and it’s a good way to improve my vocabulary and grammar. I also want to practice my speaking skills by watching an English movie with subtitles.
Overall, today was a great day. I learned new things in school and had fun with my friends. I also did some extra learning at home to improve my English. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures and learning opportunities.
